January 1995 : The first picture shows the baseboard frame and the supports. The supports are two Bert's bought from Ikea at £18 each. These are stable, have handy draws and are on casters which means the whole layout can be pulled out if I need to work on the track at the back. I have found this arrangement excellent. Both Berts have hats (so called) which are made out plywood and adjustable to cope with sloping floors.
