My first Family Tree was produced as a school project in about 1974 when I was 12 or 13. It was was mostly based on the memories of my mother and two grandmothers.

Some additions and corrections were made as further information was collected from other relatiives. Gran (Chrissy Stafford) was particularly useful and I ‘interviewed’ her and jotted down things she said. At some point the tree was replaced by several sheets of paper.
