February 1995 : The next picture shows the early stages of track laying. Under pressure from my son I later installed a turntable, initially at the left. However, I realised at this stage that the entrance to the yard was on the wrong side and since the location of the turntable meant shunting across the station a major re-think was required. 
All the track was taken up and the control panel fascia was replaced. 
At this stage the PECO doube slip came onto the market and I decided it would prove useful.
