Four or five years ago we visited Newby Hall near Ripon in North Yorkshire. In one of the buildings on the estate is a collection of dolls houses. These were donated by Caroline Hamilton and Jane Fiddick and described, with some wonderful photographs, in their book “Our Dollshouses”.

It took me a while to read through the book, there is just so much detail in the text to look for in the pictures.
