After Easter we went to stay in Chertsey in order to see Abi and visit our four remaining stations in the South East. The first of these, Ramsgate, which was one of the most distant stations for us to reach from home being 298 miles. The most distant are Glenfinnan (312) and Aviemore (317), whilst two of the remaining stations are also in the top 5 for distance; Eggesford (265) and Dawlish (269). It was quite a bit quicker for us to drive from Chertsey to Ramsgat than trying to go by train and it also gave us the opportunity to visit Broadstairs along the coast.
