This was the first of our stations visited in 2025 and as explained elsewhere I have reverted to adding these pages to the old part of my website. The stations visited in 2023 and 2024 are on a different part of the site.
We decided to make use of a short trip to go to an event at St Peter’s Harold Wood in Essex and planned various visits on the way including three stations. Wellingborough was the first. As we were out of practice we forgot to take a picture of ourselves.
The station wasn’t very busy.
The old Goods Shed had been turned in to an exhibition of the crane and other bits used to move goods on and off wagons.
